Most people don’t realize that carpets occur in different designs and that there is a unique way to clean each one of them. The lack of such knowledge is what will lead to unnecessary damage to the rug.
Fortunately, expert cleaners know what methods and substances to use on the specific type of carpet when cleaning them. This helps to maintain the fiber, colors and general state of the carpet so that it has a prolonged life looking as good as new.
The disadvantage of choosing an amateur cleaner is that you can never trust them to finish the job as you requested. Besides, they might lack basic etiquette and leave your home in shambles by the time they are done.
Professional service providers will do a precise job that meets all the customer’s instructions. The task will also be completed within schedule and they will handle your home with the dignity it deserves.
The task of cleaning a carpet is not an easy one, especially if you expect comprehensive results at the end of it all. It requires scrubbing the surface to get rid of stubborn stains, moving furniture, putting it out to dry and so much more.
This can take a lot of time which you may not have the luxury of sparing. Instead of wasting all this valuable time, find a carpet cleaning company to do this for you. This is after all, what they do and they have enough manpower, skills, and machinery to handle all this in no time.
Carpet Cleaning Dublin FAQ
How does your carpet cleaning hot water extraction process work?
Often referred to as 'steam cleaning', the hot water extraction method or HWE uses hot water and pressure to aid agitate the dirt and carpet fibres. The hot water raises the rate at which the reaction happens.
Steam is sent deep into the textile pile by our commercial grade vacuum cleaners and at the same time, the suction part removes the dirt, dust, and other particles leaving your carpet almost as good as new.
What types of carpets and rugs do you clean?
We are proud to say that over the years, at Carpet Clean Dublin, we've worked with every type of carpet and rug. Including Indian and Persian carpets, deep cut pile and loop pile, Berber and Frieze. If you are unsure about getting your type of carpet professionally cleaned, give us a call.
How often should I get my carpets cleaned by a professional?
This is very much an ' it depends' answer. Is your carpet exposed to the sun? How much foot traffic does your textile covering get? Is it protected from stains? As a general rule of thumb, once a year is a good place to start but it really depends.
We recommend to our customers that they take a picture after we are finished our work. The customer can then refer to these images when deciding if it's time for another clean.
What is dry chemical cleaning?
Dry chemical cleaning is sometimes referred to as low moisture cleaning and is a different process.
- A staff member uses a specialised machine with rotating blades to work a special dry chemical into the textile fibres.
- The powder chemically bonds with dirt and dust particles in the pile.
- The cleaning agent is allowed time to react with the air which loosens the soil right down to the base of deep pile textile coverings.
- Then the vacuum cleaner is used to remove all traces of dirt and cleaning powder.
- Dry Chem carpet cleaning removes 95% of allergens and odours.
How long does it take for my carpets to be dry after steam cleaning?
Different carpets dry at different rates. For example a woolen pile can take up to four hours to dry completely but most carpets dry in two to three hours. We can use Airmovers which increase the rate at which carpets dry, this is particularly important in rooms with little air circulation.
What is stain protection and do you offer it?
Fibre stain protection is used to extend the life of your textile covering and is applied after a thorough cleaning. It is particularly useful for areas that see a high amount of foot traffic and comes with a six month guarantee.
Should I move the furnitire in preparation?
